Chapter 46: The Journey

And so, after he had patiently endured, he obtained the promise.

Hebrews 6:15 NKJV

Do you ever feel that the journey you are on will never reach its destination?  You are not alone!  Scripture is filled with accounts of God’s promises and His faithfulness.  Just read through Hebrews 11 to get a reminder that you are in good company!  But no matter what the timing, its always perfect when we trust in Him.

This last week we heard amazing news that Michelle’s twin sister is getting married next month!  This is an amazing event in her life and we would love to be a part of it.  We would like to send a shout out to all you lovely people, to see if anyone is able to help us make this possible.  It looks like it will cost us 120k miles + around $300, or  about $2,000 round trip.  This would only cover the cost of airfare, not to mention food, drink, formula, car rental, hotel, or any other needs we may have with going stateside unexpectedly.  If you are able to help, please let us know as soon as possible.  We would like to book the tickets soon to avoid price hikes.  What a crazy adventure this will be.

I feel like God has really used this season of my life to give me focus on my calling.  It is easy to get overwhelmed and distracted from what drives us and makes us passionate.  For me it is Coffee, Jesus and People. The idea of community and coffee go together hand in hand.  It is during the crazy moments that I find so much joy in sharing life with others over coffee.  God has been so good and I have loved all the connections He has brought us!

Dottie is growing so fast, she turns 6 months old next week!  Loralie begins 1st grade next month, I feel like it was just yesterday we were taking her home from the hospital.  Jack is growing so much, he is almost as tall as Loralie.  It is amazing how much God can bless you through parenting.  It is neither an easy task, nor a simple undertaking.  It is 100% worth it!

Please keep our family in your prayers as we continue forward in our life’s journey:

-Pray for Michelle as my work schedule this month will take me away from home a bit more than usual.

-Pray for me(Brad) as I work longer hours and as I prepare for important meetings this month (coffee and business related).

-Pray for Sweet Life: God’s will, presence and movement would be clear and evident.

-Pray for our kids as they adjust to new school routines and the next step in their education in 1st Grade(Loralie) and Kindergarten(Jack).

-Pray for our trip back to the states, for financial provision and work to run smoothly in our absence.

We are incredibly thankful for you all.  May God bless you and establish Himself as provider and protector in each of your lives.  Remember to send us your prayer requests!  We would love to lift you up in our prayers!

Much Love!
